Mexican American are a group of people who gives a high priority for respect.

They communicate mostly on Spanish.Some times this makes health care professionals to communicate.

They lack eye to eye contact so explaining and making them understand is little difficult task

Masculine community communication with other gender is harder so same gender care can improve communication

Loud noise or talking is considered as de-respect so talk politely and humbly

Touch is a form of communication but these people avoid this as a form of insult or no respect

Describe present treatment as they are present oriented which makes them feel secured

Maintaining punctuality if there is a delay it has to be informed in prior otherwise there will be a lack of communication.

Thus these are some cultural competent nursing care.
