She is curious about it and it is a universal play material with unlimited possibilities. She wants to know how this world really works, smell and tastes. She wants to explore all her senses and enjoy playing. It is a very simple and natural process to find her interest.

This may be a sign of depression if present in any adult as he or she will try to live alone and will try to search all his or her happiness in nature but if this symptom is shown by a child then it is indicative of his or her interest field and even can be a sign of her mental and psychological development.
