- It is a wide range of health care services that can be given in your home for an illness or injury.
- it is usually less expensive, more convenient, and just as effective as the care you get in a hospital or skilled nursing facility.

EFFECT OF ACA (AFFORDABLE CARE ACT) ON HOME HEALTH CARE:-
-ACA is access to health care through expanded coverage, improved quality and efficiency and lower health care costs, and consumer protections.  
-besides these advantage some important gaps will remain that could impact this level of community resilience.
-Example:-expanded coverage will not be universal coverage, because some states are electing to not expand their Medicaid programs, and the change in care management will not happen overnight, as all of the speakers point out in this topic.
