In responses to injury mast cells present in tissue degranulate releasing the potent vasodialator histamine .Increased blood flow and inflammatory mediators recruit white blood cells to the site of inflammation,that means Redness,heat,swelling,and pain are associated with this first stage, Redness and heat are caused by increased blood flow.
