Opioid is a group drug widely to control severe pain in patients with deadly diseases and major post operative cases.It is also available on prescription which has lead to addiction and crisis in US.

Its disparity mainly relies on the following like

• Racial discrimination (whites are more addicted)
• Women uses in greater quantity than men
• Young adults are easily exposed in there work place
• African American are in major opiod crisis
• Moreover the Medicaid has the facility to prescribe this drug which has lead to crisis

This can be avoided by health education to teenager, young adults , general community about the harmful effects than its benefits.
