Nursing and caring should be grounded to develop a relational understanding, unity, and connection between the professional nurse and the patient. Thus the Art of nursing involves; compassion, caring, engaging, effective communication and holistic care. While the Science of nursing is; knowledge of diseases, critical thinking, nursing process, evidence-based research and the skills required for nursing.
