1.The clinical manifestations of Salem's inflammation are
- Pain :Due to an external cause, extreme heat which injures the
tissues.This stimulates the pain receptors and release of certain
chemical which makes the victim to feel the pain
- Calor or increased body temperature: To fight any infection at
the site of injury the white blood cells increases in count as
innate immune response.As a result the body temperature
raises.
- Redness: This occurs as a result of injury the blood pools with
the blood cells to act agsins the irritant resulting in change of
skin colour into red.
- Swelling in form of blister:This occurs because of immediate
response by the interstitial cells abd its fluids in the
integumentary system causing blister or swelling
- Restricted movement or motion in the affected area occurs as a
result of any injury or insult to nerves
