Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) is the applying of the knowledge earned from various clinical trials to patient care that helps to establish national standards of patient care and do the performance-based medical practice.

Using Evidence-based care practices for surgical site infection is totally practical as well as safe but the implementation needs to be done outside of a controlled clinical trial. The EBM is designed in such a way that it will assess the safety and prevent surgical site infection.

By testing research and data, and using tactics and strategies, this can be currently being marketed to the consumer .
