-Peptic ulcers are of two types-
Gastric ulcer- inside stomach
Duodenal ulcer- inside duodenum

NUTRITIONAL RECOMMENDATION REQUIRED FOR PATIENT WITH PEPTIC ULCER BECAUSE:-
-There is a greater need of protein and some micronutrients, such as vitamin A, zinc, selenium, and vitamin C in the recovery phase.
-vitamin C has a beneficial effect in eradication of H. pylori.
-Fibers and probiotics reduce the side effects of antibiotics and help reduce treatment time.
