In US the recommended dosing of acetaminophen is almost 6- 8 tablet per day. Each tablet= 500 mg acetaminophen Means 3000mg to maximum 4000 mg per day. The dosing interval or dosing frequency is maximum 2 tablets every 6 hours. In combination product acetaminophen not should be more than 325 mg per tablet as per the recommendations of FDA. The maximum recommended dose of acetaminophen is 4 grams/day in adult and 90 mg/kg/day in the children. Above this it may cause the toxicity specially the hepatotoxicity.

Dosing instructions:" Not to exceed 8tablets in the 24 hours, unless it is directed by a doctor".
