A nurse consistently takes her lunch break at the nursing station. When approached by the DON, the nurse said, “You should appreciate my dedication to the patients. Answer #1

The nurse should be told about the chance of getting some infection, as the nursing station is visited by patient's bystanders, doctors after there ward rounds, there is a chance for getting infection through oral routes.

Also taking food in the nursing station will be distraction for other staffs, you can neither concentrate on your work nor food it shows your laziness not dedication. Also you can't take proper rest during duty hours.

Give her warning and next time if doing so disciplinary action will be taken.
