Anyone can stretch, and it's easy to stretch in our daily routine. Spending five minutes or so in the morning doing a few light stretches. For example; we can step our right foot forward and lower into a lunge, placing our fingertips on the floor or on two firm cushions if our hands don’t reach. Breathe in, then, in one motion, exhale as we straighten our right leg. Slowly returning to the lunge position. Repeating four times. Switching sides. Then we can stretch now and then throughout the day to relieve tension or if we have been sitting or standing in one position for long periods. Before going for a walk or a jog or whatever, spend 5 to 10 minutes stretching all of the body's major muscle groups.
