Its a comprehensive but elaborate process and requires materials amounts of managerial time and effort during the week period when the evaluation team is on site and then significant follow up time and effort, depending on the outcome of the survey. In your opinion, is 36 months too frequent or two in frequent?

The joint commission,a national accreditation organization for hospital which conducts onsite reviews at three years intervals.This joint commission evaluate and accredits health care organization and programs in the united states.Thus joint commission standards set performance expectations that effects the safety and quality of patient care.Its accreditation process evaluate an organization compliance with standard. This 3 years or 36 months interval is two in frequent . It's needed because changing trends in health Care system.Health care system consist of different components,there is huge changes occurring in day to day in health Care system.To check standards of that changes 36 months interval is needed.
