ROLE OF PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (PTA):-
- Under the direction and guidance of physical therapists, PTA treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions.
- PTA record patients' progress and report the results of each treatment to the physical therapist.
- If a patient behave in a inappropriate manner then PTA should keep patience and try to understand that situation.
- PTA should know the reason for the dissatisfaction of the patient and try to resolve them and guide the patient about the harm of that type of behaviour.
