Cancer

diabetes

Cardiovascular diseases

respiratory conditions, and arthritis

Measures that are currently being taken to impact these in a positive way include making people aware of the factors that put them at risk for developing these diseases i.e. change in lifestyle such as proper diet, sleep and exercise and in case the person is already suffering delay the progression. Healthcare policies such as the Affordable care act which lay a great importance on prevention by the lifestyle change impact these chronic illnesses.
