Value based method of reimbursement is the best method for U.S health care system because it appears as a substitute for traditional fee - for-service method. It is also called pay for performance care model. It allows care providers to take more patient centered approach. By this method the care providers can look at individual patient's specific needs and desired health out comes. This model reduces the physicians tendency for prescribing unnecessary tests and services. In this model patients are allowed to visit their doctor when ever needed and doctors are spend more time on average with each patients.
