The most significant factor that the manager controls, is her or his relationship with each employee.the relationship between an employee and his or her manager is a key factor in employee motivation ,retention and engagement.if employees relationship with their managers is fractured,then no amount of perks will persuade the employees to perform at top levels. Employee engagement is a direct reflection of how employees feel about their relationship with the boss.the employee should know how he and his work are contributing to the organizations goals.employee should value his relationships with his or her boss.
