Answer #1

The three aspects of professionalism which can be most difficult to teach healthcare students are

  • Making the students to be committed to their profession and take responsibility. This is difficult because of the autonomy one has .They may not be responsible unless they really come across through some life experience or if they have some stubborn goal to be achieved
  • To be compassion to the patient at all time .This may be some time altered by personal issues like stress, workload, external and internal factors ,etc. ,to not respond to a patient appropriately as all are humans
  • Attending the patient needs at any time is little difficult to teach because the students has to change themselves to work beyond their self interest to save a life.
