The main theme of story A Rose For Emily is by william faulkner are isolation. Privacy between past and change and conflict between past and change. Also the auther tries to convey the message of secrecy and obsession.

It is a story of miss. Emily Grierson. She dies and every one in town comes out to her house. Throughout her life she has looked for love. But because of her father she hs never able to find it. When her father dies, she has a hard to dealing with it and denies that he is dead for three days. Emily then falls in love with a man named Homer Barron when he refuses to marry her she buy poison. Every one thinks that she will kill herself.
