Importance of care plans and concept maps

Care plan and concept maps helps the heath care professional in various ways:

1. Develpment of work plan how the entire work to be scheduled
2. Time line for the accomplishment of work
3. Exact Problem/diagnosis are made so as to plan of care
4. Goal/ outcome will be decided based on the problem
5. Plan of care will be structured according to the underlying problem
6. Prioritization of care is necessary to avoid the wastage of reources and to reach the desired outcome
7. Implementation of care plan is executed in the same way to minuimize the wastage
8. Critical thinking will be displayed in each step of plan of care to understand the basic concepts
9. Care plan provides the structured framework how the things/ measures to be executed
10. It avoids wastage of man, money and material
11. It helps in improving outcomes/ results
