(e) High LDL and low HDL.

* LDL or low density lipoprotein cause the building up of fatty deposits with in the arteries and reduce or block the flow of blood.

* HDL or high density lipoprotein promote the use of total cholesterol by transporting LDL to liver, where it is biodegraded and then excreted. * So it is desirable to have low LDL and high HDL to prevent CVD.

* Hypertension is a risk factor for CVD not hypotension.
