1. Observe the patient's walk.
The step height of both feet.
Look for any foot drop.
Speed of the gait.
Step symmetry between both legs.
2. Spastic gait
Person appear to be very stiff while walking.
Scissors gait
A person's leg bend inward and legs cross and may hit each other.
Steppage gait
A person's toes point towards the ground when walk .
Waddling gait
Person moves from side to side when walking.
Propulsive gait
A person walks with head and neck pushed forward .
3. Weakness , vertigo , poor position sense , ethanol intoxication and leg tremors.
4. Plantar faciitis
5. Cerebral palsy or muscular dystrophy
