Adequate nutrition is important factor to live active and healthy life. Malnourishment means lack of nutrients ( carbohydrates, protein, fat, vitamins and minerals) in body.

Poverty is main cause of malnourishment. Childrens are the most vulnerable victims of malnourishment. Severe malnourishment can result in many disease related consequences and effects on morbidity, mortality and disability.

Poor people cannot purchase nutritious food so, inadequate diet and disease leads to malnourishment.
