1. According to the ASCO- American society of Clinical Oncology 2016 , following elements are included in the label of a chemotherapy drug :-

- patients name

- a second patient identifier

- drug dose

- route of administration

- full generic name of drug

- total volume required to administer the drug

- date of the administration of drug

- expiry of drug - date or time

- sequencing of drug if more than one product has to be administered for example if there are three drugs then sequencing it as one out of three ,two out of three etc.

- a warning / precautionary label or sticker related to drug storage and handling .

- time of administration
