Ans:- PPACA, is the short form of patient protection and Affordable care act. It is the law that was amended in 2010 by the health care and Education reconciliation act. Before amendment it was known as ACA ( affordable care act), it has one another name also that is obama care( protection and act 2014).

It is both improvement as well as liability to our health care delivery system as its Main goals are as follows :-

1. Protect patients against arbitrary actions by insurance companies.

2. Expand access to health insurance.

3. It reduces costs.

4. Law provides consumer with premium tax credits that lower costs for households with incomes between 100% and 400% of the federal poverty level.
