The cost of mental health services has always been a great barrier. People with mental illness are less likely to have insurance than without illness. Many of the insurance company do not include mental health services in their scheme due to social stigma. By meeting the needs of the mentally ill people we can reduce risk of suicide, family conflicts, employment issues, substance abuse. Due to lack of financial resources people prevent seeking medical help. Even if the individual has insurance coverage the mental health services can be costly.
