The role that personal appearance play in phlebotomy are as
follows -
- Phlebotomist's personal appearance reflects an impression of
her professionalism on the client. So it becomes very important to
keep a properly groomed appearance to make sure that she is
reflecting an appropriate image of her professionalism.
- Phlebotomist with bad appearance or bad hygiene like dirty or
long nails are usually not welcomed by patient.
- A good appearance helps the client to grow confidence on you
and make them cooperate better in the procedure.
- Phlebotomist with a good personal appearance gets her on a
better authoritative position over the client providing her a
better oppurtunity to perform the activity correctly.
