  3. Encourage them to express their feelings of anger/sadness etc without inhibition
  4. Beware of depression, ask patient how they feel.
  5. Reduce the feeling of isolation by frequent visiting, frequently contacting them by phone etc.. Arrange a health care provider to help them when needed
  6. Be honest about the prognosis of disease
  7. Identify positive aspects like remission, slow progression of disease etc.
