Many college students believe that having friends as roommates is ideal. Think about your current roommate/s and the conflicts you may have. Would these conflicts be easier or harder to resolve with friends?

Answer #1

The conflicts that I may have with my roommate include disagreements over the distribution of home chores such as cleaning, throwing the trash. Disagreements can arise over when to put off the lights, at what temperature should the room be set. Calling of friends and family at the room may be a disturbance to the other roommate leading to conflicts. These may not necessarily be easier to resolve with friends because dealing with such issues requires patience and they can arise even with a friend. If we forgive each other as roommates and despite disagreements love each other we will grow out of them and turn into friends.
