Nursing is a profession which needs these professionals to be with patients round the clock. They are considered to be the very high risk professionals to get physically and emotionally drained out if adequate arrangements is not made by the management in the healthcare sector.

The current issues which is impacting the nursing education and practice are shortage of staff .This leads to mandatory overduty .As a result the nurses without adequate rest are victims of depresion and other physical health problems.The COVID 19 outbreak is an example where nurse shortages are widely prevalent worldwide.If this issues are not addressed and rectified this can lead to great shortage in future and lead to decreased quality patient care in healthcare sector.
