this answer would be check on turnitin. This Question i have is about the Renal Disoders, Example question is . 1. One of the pharmacological treatments for the edema associated with MN is the administration of a diuteric which acts to increase water excretion. A. how would increasing water loss from the body affect colloid osmotic pressure within capillaries? (1pts.)

that's the question i have on your chegg and i got the answer. This answer would be check on turnitin.

Answer #1

Colloid osmotic pressure is the pressure exerted by proteins in blood which mainly associated with movement water molecules in and out of the capillary bed.

As a result of increased water loss blood will become more concentrated. So there will be an increase in the colloid osmotic pressure and a decrease in hydrostatic pressure.

When the colloid osmotic pressure increases it pulls the water from tissues and consecutively increases blood volume.

When there is waterloss from the body major aim of the body as a counter mechanism is that to increase the renal blood flow ,so kidney is protected and increase in the blood volume will stop renin release and increases renal blood flow.

I have a question for my homework that says to react the following compounds with one equivalent of NBS with CCl4, and that they give only one major product. Then we have to explain why we gave our answers. I think this was just an accident that my professor left it out of the question, but wouldn't the reaction with NBS and CCl4 also need heat or light and peroxides to work? I've done the questions as if they were...

Hi, I have a stats question. I couldn't figure it out for a long time. I would appreciate your help. In an experiment to investigate the performance of four different brands of spark plugs intended for use on a 125-cc motorcycle, five plugs of each brand were tested, and the number of miles (at a constant speed) until failure was observed. A partially completed ANOVA table is given. Fill in the missing entries, and test the relevant hypotheses using a...

Coordination Compound Naming! I have 6 compounds to name. I named all 6, but please check my answer and if wrong, please explain why and how to do it. Thank you so much! 1. [Pt(NH3)4Cl2]SO4  - tetraamminedichloroplatinum (IV) sulfate 2. K3[Mo(CN)6F2] - potassium hexacyanodifluoromolybdenate (V) 3. K[Co(EDTA)] - potassium ethylenediaminetetraacetate cobaltate(III) Note: For the cobalt oxidations state, I calculated it to be +3 because EDTA has a charge of -4 and and K is +1. So, it needs to be +3...

Question: You have 100g of water at 30C to which you add 50g of ice at 0C. Calculate the entropy change for the process. For this problem I solved for the final temperature, Tf, and got that it is equal to 17.333 C = 290.483 K I have to solve for the change in entropy, though. How would I go about doing this? I was going to either use the formula: Delta S = n*Cp(molar)*ln(Tf/Ti) with n = (150/18.016 mols...
