what are some signs and symptoms I will see in a patient that is in septic shock

sepsis is a complication resulting from an infection which may become lifethreatening

this is the final stage of sepsis and inclused symptoms of severe sepsis and extremely low blood pressure

A brief Symptomatology may include the following

• alteration in level of consciousness (disorientation/ confusion etc)
• dizziness
• loss of consciousness
• fever
• tachycardia
• diaphoresis
• feeling unwell and vomitting
• slurred speech' muscle pains
• breathlessness/ shortness of breath which may be severe
• rediced urine output
• pale skin
• Initailly skin may be wam later may become cold clammy mottled skin as clinical condition worsens
