Steps necessary to create a culture that would be supportive of using research evidence in practice would be the proper use of the; institutional leadership, such as nurse managers (NMs), as they can play an integral role in the implementation of EBP on nursing units. (Kueny, 2015) The nurse practitioners can convince and train the nurses to use this practice. They can effectively try to overcome the barriers to the implementation of the EBP such as overcoming the language barrier while trying to convince the patient, being sensitive to the culture and religious inclination of the patient and implementing the policy of EBP in a patient-centered way so that it is acceptable to the patient.
