If the diet is rich in good carbs like whole grains, beans, fruits & vegetables are helthy as they are rich source of essential vitamins , minerals and other important nutrients, these do not raise the raise the risk of diabetes and other related metabolic disorders, asthey do not increase the gycemic index at a very high level.

On the other hand bad carbs sources like white bread, white rice, pastry, sugary sodas as well as highly processed foods leads to make fat, in the body as well as they incease the glycemic index to very high level, hence they can raise the risks of diabetes and other realted disorders.

Hence it is advisable to avoid the bad carbs.
