*Functions of Vitamin B12: Vitamin B12 is methylcobalmine .Helps in maintaining nerve tissue health ,brain function. Main function of Vitamin B12 is production of Red blood cells and helps to prevent Anemia. Functions of Folate : Folate helps to form Red blood cells . Helps in production of DNA and genetic information.It create new proteins.

Both Vitamin B12 and Folate have similar function of production RBC and prevent anemia.

*We need to avoid high doses of Both folate and B12 . There are side effects of excessive folate and B12. Side effects of Overdose of Vitamin B12 :Pus filled bumps on skin , diarrhea, pulmonary edema ,congestive heart failure.vein thrombosis. Side effects of Folate: Slower the brain development in children, nauseous, increase risk of brain nerves damage.
