Socio-emotional intelligence is the ability to be aware of our own and others' feelings in situations. Understanding of self emotional status is the mandatory subject and which leads to the functioning of other things.

An unstable emotional may not be lead to proper cognitive functioning as well as decision making and problem solving. Emotional intelligence helps you build stronger relationships, succeed at school and work, and achieve career and personal goals.

Emotional intelligence could play a role in decision-making by helping people realize their emotions can sway the choices they make. Research shows that emotional intelligence (EI) enables us to make effective decisions.

It plays a major role in mental health, physical health, relationships as well.
