Answer #1

Energy generation also called as electricity generation can be defined as the process of producing electric energy by transforming other forms of energy into electrical energy.

In recent times there has been an ever growing need to look for newer methods of energy generation. This is so because the older methods of energy generation are no more sustainable. They cause a lot of pollution and leads to exhaustion of important natural resources besides having an adverse environmental impact. Therefore in order to avoid this and create cleaner energy generation the need for newer methods for energy generation has been felt in recent times.
