Nurses had adequate knowledge about the principles and techniques for proper drug administration. Because in a hospital setting the nurses are responsible for medication administration and any error occur in the medication administration nurses are responsible for it. So the nurses had enough knowledge about pharmacology.

If the doctor prescribed a wrong medicine then the nurse need to correct the doctor for this the nurse must had knowledgr. If the nurse too cannot identify the error then it may cause serious effect on patient. In such cases the patient can movie legally against the nurse, doctor and hospital.

The principles of medication administration helps to avoid medication error as well as done the procedure properly. Also it will promote the quality of care that we are given and patient get a positive effect on health.
