what is the standard of care approach versus the current approach

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Care approach in nursing is a person centred approach which mainly includes personal needs, desires, wants and goals.

Current approach in nursing sets nursing current practices such as diagnosis, pathophysiology, risk factors, prediction, prevention etc.

So, standard of care includes the provision of services in a manner consistent with care and standard of current approach includes actual current practices done with patients. Standard of care sets minimum criteria for job proficiency while standard of current approach requires experienced, professional and certified nurses.
