Answer: Genomics is an interdisciplinary study of biology that focuses on the genes of the organisms. Genetic engineering is the manipulation of the genetic material (DNA) to alter the phenotype of an organism.

I disagree with the genomics and genetic engineering of human DNA.

Genetic engineering of the complex human gene is not always 100% efficient. Our body is complex and there are many gaps in understanding the complete genetics. Although genetic engineering has cured some disease, it is not yet fully applicable throughout the world. People are still given conventional treatments. This shows that our knowledge is not complete in this field. This is dangerous. The scientists will in someday genetically engineer humans to get desired traits. Genetic engineering of humans raises the ethical and legal issue.
