The CDSS (clinical decision support tool) play an important role in reducing healthcare disparities. For example, the use of electronic health records provides an up-to-date medical knowledge and evidence-based guidance to the physician; at the point of care (Murphy, 2014). Thus it reduces the cost and access disparities to the end users i.e. the patients as people sitting remotely in any part of the world can get an access to medical expertise.
