- If mother having serious injury to her physical or mental health.

--If mother 's baby having genetic disorder such as down syndrome, thalassemia etc.

- If mother have TORCH (toxoplasmosis, other viral infections, rubella, cytomegalovirus, herpes virus) etc infection.

- If mother taking drugs like thalidomide, cortisone, antimiotic drugs, antidepressants.

-If mother treated by Xray, or radioisotope.

- If pregnancy caused by rape.

- If mother have serious heart disease.

- If pregnancy occur by failure of contraceptive devices ( Tubectomy failure).
