What would you consider a “healthy” grieving period and what would it entail?
A “healthy” grieving period varies from person to person and there is no “normal” timetable for grieving. Ideally, it should be three days in case of the demise of someone close to us, if we are religious. The most important factor that makes us accept any loss is believed in the will of God and leaving everything to God, who loves us the most. The period of grief may vary from issue to another, but religious people handle grief in a stable and composed way. They feel they are just having a partial view of the scheme of God and good things will follow bad events in life. Believers are hopeful and this makes them accept problems and move ahead in life.
