when the ventricle is full ,the mitral valve shuts ,this prevent the blood from flowing bchward into the atrium while the ventricle contract .as the ventricle contracts ,blood leaves the heart through the aortic valve into the aorta it circulates the blood to the body .

  • the bracheo cephalic trunk is the first artery to arise from the aortic arch , it branches into right subclavian artery and right common carotid artery.
  • it carries the blood to the right arm and the right side of the head and neck .
