Assessing for red reflex and visualisation with ophthalmoscope is very difficult if child didnt co-operate.

In musculoskeltal assessment, assessing the upperlimb and lower limb reflexes like biceps, triceps etc is also very difficult in small children.

In paediatric assessment attract the childs attention with tennis balls, small toys and bubbles and making them play is very helpful in observing and assessing them.

Difficult tasks like headcircumference, fundoscopy and sensory testing should be postponed to the end.
