Answer: Obesity may be described as a disorder involving excessive body fat that increases the risk of health problems. Sometimes the cause of obesity is not only the food addiction but also some of many other reasons such as hormonal disbalance in women, PCOS, or hereditary.

But obesity due to excessive eating or food addiction are common, due to poor lifestyle people are not able to do physical activities as well as they do not eat healthy foods.

Any addiction is not good for us, whether it may be food addiction or drug addiction. Anything in excess is not healthy for us. So, at some point we can say that there are many similarities between the food addiction and drug addiction. Drug addicted people are not able to live or stay without the consumption of the drug same as food addiction. Both causes an adverse effect on our body.
