Following changes took place in ACA recently -

1. Annulmenl of the individual mandate for insurance policy : citizens will not face a tax penalty if they don’t enroll in an ACA-compliant health plan for a full year.

This will result in individual health plan markets to face high loss. Premiums will go up as well

2. Elimination of the cost-sharing reductions (CSRs) : it says that government will end CSRs to payers selling individual health plans. This will lead to rise in premium rates of health plans.

3. Increasing the promotion and use of state 1115 Medicaid waivers : this will increase the allowable income levels allowing many individuals to qualify for Medicaid benefits.

4.   Expanding association health plan availability: it states increase in time period of health plans covering individuals
