Source of power available to me while clinical practice is referent power.

Referent Power:- I have this power because I have friendly relationship with others and I have the ability to reference others. I have the capacity of changing attitudes,values and decision so,I have been given referent power.

I also have expert and advocate power because I have enough skills and knowledge as others don't have in my group. I have the capacity to influence the patients, physicians and other healthcare managers,etc.

Enhancing the expert and advocacy power:-

* Study,observe and learn new things.

* Ask others for help, if you need.

* Be confident.

* Know your skills and increase the needed by practice,etc.

These are the ways to enhance the your advocacy and expert power.
