Lifestyle and living situation :To consider this so that splintiong willnot affect the daily activities

Cognition:To determine the persons ability to follow instructions and take care of the splint

Other medical conditions that may affect ROM and circulation

Sensory functioning:Sensory function like ability to see the device and feel pain or numbness in the application site
