This will lead to interference in the gas diffusion and will cause the neutrophils migration to the site. They will then occupy the air fillled spaces and mucosal secetion amd edema will occur . They will interfere in the normal ventilation process of our body. Decrease in the alveolar tension will occur and will lead to hypoventilation .
